> P910i Flip Keyboard Problems
Bookmark topic
Anyone else have problems with their flip keyboards? My keyboard seems to have some bad contacts all of a sudden. Im pretty sure im hitting the right key but its the adjacent keys that seem to be hit. It gets pretty annoying since i use the flip keyboard a lot when chatting. This stylus is kinda tricky.

I had this problem. I took the phone to the SESC they had to change the keyboard after it failed to work correctly when they tried to fix it. As I undertsood, it was a connector problem.

Was this under warranty? Man, I hope I can have that fixed under warranty. I bought the phone used, so I'm not sure if their's a warranty card on this or something. I wonder if this problem has anything to do with removing the flip sometimes. I've only taken the flip out twice in my possession so far.

Argh, this is really irritating. I tried to clean the sensors on the flip by taking it out and just wiping the sensors connecting the flip to the phone. It seemed to work for a bit, or its prolly just a placebo effect. But then it started doing the "hit the wrong key although I hit the right key" effect. Will buying a new flip keyboard fix this or is it a problem with the phone?

Isn't easier just to take it to a service?! And if it's not covered by the insurance (probably isn't if u dont have the certificate and the invoice), won't u fix it?

I have the same problem. I am currently trying to ride out the problem. Its still only slightly irritating but I guess I will have to change the flip eventually. I think that is one of the reasons why they have put the keyboard on the phone itself for the p950.

Well, I'm just too lazy bringing this thing to a SE center, and also most likely it won't be under warranty since I bought it used, although I do have everything that is included inside the box. Well, I'll see what they say if I ever find the time to bring this to an SE center. If its costly, I'll probably just buy a new keyboard off the net or something. Now I'm starting to see why they changed the design of the keyboard of the P950 or whatever its called.
