Hi all. I'm about to upgrade my k700i to the latest sw R2AY004. Now I find posts claiming that the call cost menu might be gone in new sw versions.

I got it now under Settings -> Calls -> Time & cost -> Data counters. Im a heavy user of GPRS and SMS so I gotta know how much data I used!

Can anyone confirm if these counters still exist in the latest SW?
Or does anyone know what the latest version is that still has the counters? This isn't listed in the big SW version page on this forum:

It seems like that menu randomly disappears when performing an update with the firmware you mention. When I did my update the menu stayed, but my friends phone lost that menu... I don't think there's a documented explanation for why this happens for some people...

I tried flashing my friends K700 using DaVinci and thought that would fix it since DaVinci doesn't "update" the firmware as SEUS does (DaVinci reinstalls it from scratch, much like a reformat on a PC). But guess what... the menu was still gone in that phone! I think, but I'm not sure, that it has something to do with what hardware revision your phone has... some revisions seems to be incompatible with the mentioned firmware, hence the lack of the menu.

I flashed it using Davinci to R2AY004 and I still got the time & cost menu . So random would be the word indeed.

Updated my firmware using the SE update service to R2AY, still got that menu
