what do you think, would it be nice to have colour phonebook like we used to on siemens s10? e.g. contact list to be the same (name/home/work...) but with possibility to choose in what colour contact will show up in contacts list. and maybe an option to sort by colour. i'm thinking of this because i'm tired of inventing prefixes for family, friends, work, leisure, info, hotlines etc.

You can choose the phonebook font colour when making custom themes.
But as far as colours for individual contacts, I like it! Hopefully

will adopt your idea.

Won't it be too memory-intensive?

i didn't mean 262k colours, but say 4-6. that's quite enough to group your contacts
siemens s10 didn't have much memory, yet it had 3 phonebooks; red, green, blue
new motorolas have predefined groups, but i don't like the thing they can't be renamed or smth.

Good point, B. A few basic colours probably won't hurt, and given the fact that new phones have better memory than that Siemens did, i'd think it could be done. I'd also love to see the phonebook have more features, especially on Nokia where the only real choices are swopping between first and last names.
