I have the original crapy low volume media player software and would like to upgrade so i can make use of my music filled 1gb ms at a reasonable volume.
The problem is i go through the whole procedure and it asks if phone is on then it checks the phone and says the operator will not allow it !!
The phone was on orange but i unlocked it and now use a o2 sim card.
has the unlocking ruined my chances of new software ?
any help would be greatfully appreciated.

the solution to your problem is simple: wait. I had the same problem, its not about the phone or the operator, its about SEUS site. so try every few days, it will eventually work.
