Hi guys,i'm a p800 owner and i'm very proud of such a phone, but i'm looking to upgrade it with p900 or s700.so i want to know:
1- if the call list of the s700 is as the one in the p800? [if someone called me two times, will it show the 2 calls or the last one only?].
and also
2- if the s700 does record video unlimetted?
3- if there is a solution for the slowness of the software of the s700?

Thank u verymuch for helping.

In answer to your second question, operator firmware will restrict the video recording length to 100kb - MOST network's maximum. I updated the fw of mine to the generic R3k and this issue was resolved.

no not as good as the P-series, only shows the latest call from that person

yes depending on memory stick.

mines certainly not slow, only when my message box is over 95% it slows a little when viewing the messages.

1# No. > 2# Yes. It can be made to record to the extent memory available. > 3# Sort of. The MANY resources and features this baby has, is demanding. Apart from whats already said, dont let it fall, get wet etc. With right FW and proper use of the external & internal memory it IS JUST FINE. I still use it over the P910 I have. Gov- I have not used the P900, but can assume that its not something expon'ntially over P800. Between P800, P910, S700 again- having gotten used to the former I mainly prefer 700. Ofcourse, a smartphone will be a smartphone. Even in the wake of new comparable launches from SE itself, S700 price have not fallen much. THAT speaks for itself, but with higher specs, makes other fones look VFM (value for money). > Not much idea of the Nokia, though I was a fan of their "Vertu" brand luxury phones 3 years back. it may not be, but the better screen and the not so taco looking stylus is a great advantage, if you ask me. having used a smart phonw, i dont think moving over to non smart phone as the primary phone is such a good ides, certainly i will look for such a phone for a second phone, but not when i am looking for a primary phone, that too, and the T9 in flip closed mode forp9, does i works for me....
