> GPRS discrimination on T-mobile!

t-mobile netherlands has introduced a new GPRS bundle with the name of "pocket internet totaal", with this bundle you can go unlimited online for 9.5€ a month (pretty cheap)
so i called the helpdesk, and i asked if i could have such a bundle, i could have it but i had to have a PDA or a MDA.
i then proposed if i can't install the nwe settings on my current mobile (d750i/p800), but i couldn't couse the system would detect on what kind of mobile i was going to be online with.
now i have a couple of questions i would like you guys/gals to help me with.
1.
can they discriminate on what type of telephone you have?; why should a person with a p800 pay such more the a person with a MDA?
2.
can they realy see what kind of mobile you are online with? and can't i/you spoof this, by using a different browser/ settings?

If the settings work on the phone tell them that its the other one they cant tell wich one is using the net...
However T-mobile is crap so I dont use them...
