Hi,
I do appologise as this question has probably been answered a million times before.
Im currently on the first firmware version R1A044 and im trying to update to the newest version on the SE site. At the point when I am requested to disconnect the phone from the USB, turn it off, hold C then reconnect the phone to the USB (still holding C until the update begins) the updating process doesnt recommence and the progress bar remains at 0%. As soon as I reconnect the phone it automatically turns itself back on (even while Ive got c pushed) - Is this supposed to happen???
Please help...

almost always, its because you have not downloaded and installed the
Sony Ericsson D750/K750/W800 Update Service USB driver

I try to update the drive and it tells me that the most newest one is being used...Any other ideas???
I have used the USB cable to download mp3's and pics without any problems...

plug the cable into a different USB port. thats what fixed the problem for me
