Hi; I had it setted to 100%, but now I was testing with 80% (the maximum point where the message telling that higher brigtheness levels waste power doesn't appear)...

Does anyone know the difference in power consumption between these two levels? Which one do you have setted and wich one do you recommend? thanks

I have the Sony Ericsson K750i and I use 50% in the brightness..... I found that the battery last longer! It doesn't affect anything... I can even see it under the sun...-----I have a question about the screen... People say that the W800i and the K750i have different screens(LCD)... Is it true? Why? Any difference?----- Bye, Kevin

I have a p910i and i keep my brightness screen at 80%.The difference is noticeable-if i keep it at maximum, the battery lasts less, maybe 20% less time. This message was posted from a WAP device

Wow... isn't 50% WAY too little?

I'm using 50%, too.. Also believe it or not i miss 40% and even below cause i don't like much light in the dark..

I set it @50% also .. because when waiting for webpages to load the screen auto dimms much faster at 60% and up. it's so annoying that you cant adjust the dimmer time.... except with the brightness level..

off-topic: i noticed if you choose "Car Profile" the screen stays lit (at dimm levels)...

Used to use my Siemens s55 at 10% brightness. My w800 is on 50%. Was thinking about the pwr consumption, but only way to measure is by means of a meter at the batt terminals, and can't get to those without taking the back off. Will do it when the newness has worn off... This message was posted from a WAP device
