Hi All,
This is probably going to sound extremely dumb but i'm stuck in a right hole.
I have called my SP and got all the settings required. However where do i enter the dial up number and port setting? I've gone to settings>connectivity>internet settings. All i can do there is setup the gateway address and username and password. Whenever i try to connect to WAP it says connection failed, check data or internet settings.
Any help appreciated

Pls confirm whether you are using GPRS or dial up wap (csd)
You are mentioning a dial up number...gprs doesn't need any "dial up" number..
Unless you are connectiong your pc via gprs...

hi all,
thanks for all your help guys. I'm using dial up WAP but i do have the option to use GPRS...neither of the two seem to be working. I think i'm going to ring etisalat again and see what the score is,hopefully can get this thing sorted.it would be really useful to have on my phone.

Whether its gprs or csd..

Only then could we be of some help!
