A strange thing happened to me today....
I got a text through, so i went to check it as normal. The text took ages to come up, and now my touch screen doesnt work... apart from the top taskbar of the main menu.
Stupidly, i assumed that an update/restore thingy might fix it, so i did one. And now my phone is stuck at the language selection page (cos you need to tap next on the screen)
Can anyone help ?

Do . Format of internal memory. Good thing you have a back up. I hope it is not a p800 by the way. This message was posted from a K500

Go to: file manager>file>format disk

Although, Ive just niticed that it doesn't let you format the internal disk, only the MS - so thats no help!

So... maybe try a master reset? Control panel>other>master reset.

Or just do an update on the SE website. It has a recovery option, although I think it only works if you have updated before.

Actually sounds more like the the display connector isn't properly connected to the motherboard. Taking the battery out and applying slight compression in the general area of the connector should fix it.

In other words a hardware prob (as opposed to software problem which woud be fixed by master reset/recovery). But good suggestion, hopefully that's all that is wrong...
