Hello again,
so I had to unlock my p910i again, and now my question is:
is there a way to speed up the startup time of the phone when we first turn it on? Also, am i stuck with the Orange logo at the startup screen forever? can i change that?
as it stands now, when i turn on my phone, i have the orange logo and the clouds for a good 15/20 seconds before the phone starts to load. is this normal?
thanks for your input

Apparently, you can't change the starup video as its not stored in the "normal" memory, but in the hardware.

As for the startup time, I have a P910 on Ornage but the startup only appears for about 5 seconds. I would suggest (1) doing a full restore or (2) factory reset and re-syncing with outlook.

My P9 loads at about that speed as well. Maybe 15 seconds to get it into a workable state (menu, all programs loaded). However that has more to do with my startup programs than anything else I would think.

Branding is stored in the Z: drive, on ROM memory. As the name may indicate, this can't be written over. AS far as i'm aware, you ned a special piece of equipment to 'de-brand' your mobile.

Even with File Manager, Sman etc. Imho- ROM files cant be over written.

As for the delay upon start up- 15 seconds isn't in the Red card zone..
