Question about the k750i
I know that the k750i does NOT support a2dp.
But , for example, when I am listening mp3 on the PC with a stereo bluetooth headset with a bluetooth dongle, will it switch to my k750i when the phone rings?(switch to handsfree) and switch back to my PC when the call ends?
For example with the nokia hs-12w?
Kind regards
Redman

Honestly Even if the Headset is paired with both PC and Phone and it is working with the PC at the time of the call I would imagine unless the headset supports two connection at same time than no....

However If you have the gear to try it out by all means... Its not the sort of trial that would damage any equipment involved so it is risk free...

Assuming your Bluetooth dongle supports A2DP, then yes the Nokia HS-12W headset would switch from the A2DP audio source (i.e. your BT dongle via your PC) to the phone.

The Nokia HS-12W auto-switches from A2DP to Headset profiles when the headset profile signals a call.

Redman5087,

I have just invested in a pair of anycom BSH100 bluetooth stereo headphones / headset

I use a bluetooth dongl eon my pc (a bluetake BT009Si) through which I can listen to my music (quality is excellent)

I set my phone (K750i) to use the headset as well and when the phone rings it interrupts the music but doesn't transfer the call!!!!!....I am stuck now....

Hope this helps....still in the infancy I think!!!

Cheers

1st of all lets clear the terminology- there are two bluetooth audio services : headset ( one speaker + one mic) and AV service (two channels or just audio stereo streaming).
Now, I use "dectel" headset with k750i. So when my Dectel in AV BT mode while the phone rings, I hear it ringing already in the headset, I push the button and I can speak. After the phonecall is finished, headset is automatically switched in AV stereo mode.
BUT....., there is a BIG BUT, the k750i doesn't support AV service, I'm still looking for a solution. Enough offtop, I will open a topic for that.
