I have a bunch of questions so i guess i'll just list them so whoever can chip in, can answer them by question.
1. Does a bluetooth GPS work with P910?
2. When I buy the GPS unit, do i have to pay a monthly/subscription fee or am i good to go permanently?
3. I am guessing the p910 is used to read data from the gps unit, therefore, I would need a program to read it. Do i need to pay periodically or just a 1 time fee like any other program?
4. What is the best bang for the buck gps unit? (for canada use)

Hi
I hope this helps.
1. Does a bluetooth GPS work with P910?
yes
2. When I buy the GPS unit, do i have to pay a monthly/subscription fee or am i good to go permanently?
good to go for good!
3. I am guessing the p910 is used to read data from the gps unit, therefore, I would need a program to read it. Do i need to pay periodically or just a 1 time fee like any other program?
This depends on the software package you buy for the P910. There are a couple available, you should find out which is the best for the area you intend to use the gps in.
4. What is the best bang for the buck gps unit? (for canada use)
Not sure about that, as long as your gps unit is relatively good, the software that you buy for it will determine the features. The gps unit simply picks up data from the sat's and sends it to your phone. Here's a link to start you off.

I am looking at some GPS receivers, and these say are compatible with Bluetoth devices with SPP (Serial Port Profile). Will P900 work with these?

Just one suggestion ---> GO FOR "STAR III" GPSs
Everything else is outdated.
