Well I'm trying to put my music into my phone either through disc 2 phone or copying and pasting to the removable disc. Once I take out the usb and see if the files are there...they disappear. I just flashed my phone from k750 to w800 yesterday. Anyone have the same problem?

Is your flashed 750 expecting a w800 file structure on the memstick? The music files need to be in a specific dir (audio) for the walkman to find and play. This message was posted from a WAP device

Its just and R1N firmware bug. Applicable to both k750i as well as w800i.

So there is no way to fix it or what?

do you think if i flashed to a different firmware besides EU_1 that it would fix it?

I think it doesn't work if you copy and paste, when you're on "My Computer"... I use "Sony Ericsson File Manager"- the disc that came with the phone... When I unplug the phone I go to file manager and move them into the external memory... bye, KLG2992- Kevin 3:-)

I had the same problem trying Disc2Phone too, I put it down to crappy software. As I used a card reader to copy my songs on (as well as creating the correct directory structure so the new media player works perfectly) and everything worked a treat.

Try to put the songs in this directory, sometimes it'll work. I think you have to put a folder at one time and then disconnect and connect again to put a second folder. But in any case, you'll get your songs there usually after a second try. I want to use the usb cable cos I don't want to spoil the rubber flap of the memory stick cover.

Here's the directory:
E:\MSSEMC\Media files\audio

where E:\ is your removable disk ie your memory stick.

Just place your mp3 here and that will do.

Hope this help!
