Hi,

Please anyone can help on this.

I tried to update the software of my K750i from the sony ericsson site.
everyting was going smooth, but after 50% update complited it gives an erron message "error in communication with the device"

After that when i restart my phone, the camera was not working saying that wrong driver version, need to update dirver.

Then i tried it again several times to update the software. but same thing happens.

Anyone please help me on this, cause withouth the camera what is the point of using K750i.

Better to take it to an SE service centre.
They'll repair that for free (i think...).

hi,

Thaks for your reply. but im using this phone at Bangladesh.
And there is no service provider preset here.

is there anything i should do????

Should i try the recovery mode. Or it will damage more?????????

Maybe you could try to update it a few more times.
Try the recovery mode.
If it fails to update it correctly, try to master reset it, once it boots, remove the battery in order to avoid the "Please wait" routine, then try recovery mode.

Just a few ideas...

Ya Thaks for your advice. I am going to try updating few more times. Lets see what happens. And before that im going to downgrade my JRE with the most stable version. for example 1.4.2 and update the phone driver.

Can you just tell me some more things. like if you have updated your phone the what was the specification of your computer platform. for example im using following platform:
O/S: Windows XP with service pac 2
JRE version: 1.5.0
Sonyericson updte service: SEUS 1.19 and
all updated phone drivers.

My phone is W800i but I had the same problem. After master reset (reset all -option) I were able to update. However, after successfull update I still can't use my camera...

Well i tried it again. And worst thing happend, the phone was not turnning on. So i use Recovery Mode. Now the phone is turning on but im not able to use the phone.

As my phone was made in HK, i was trying to run update from HK site. Is it possible that i can use other site like UK.??

Krubach from which site did you updated your phone and
zuff from which site you tried updated your phone ??

Try flashing it in Davinci it'll only cost you 10 euros which isnt that bad really and will probably be more successful then SEUS and your phone will be debranded at the same time.

I used SEUS through SE Portugal, but i think there's no difference between countries, SEUS system is common to all.
There might be differences in customizations, if some CDA is supported or not.

Here's what i did: Flashed R1N005 to the phone, changed to correct CDA, and then updated through SEUS (a week ago).
