Surely you mean:
wap.google.co.uk or wap.google.com
I use it regularly, it is by far and away the best search engine.
www.google.com is also my computers home page.

theres more to google wap than you think...
try to click on the 'Search Options' button at the bottom of the page...
You'll see this listing...
Entire Web
Number Entire Web
Mobile Web
Number Mobile Web
Go to URL
Language Options
Help
I'll try to explain them one-by-one...
Entire web searches google's 2,500,000,000 web pages and google will try to convert the html to wml to display it on your phone
Number entire web is same as above but it uses some sort of 'T9' technology like typing 'esato' would mean typing '37286' and google compares it to its english dictionary. Yep, that means you only can use english for the number search.
Mobile web searches googles wap page database.
and Number Mobile Web is well...
is self explanatory as well as the other two options at the bottom of the list.
Type a web address in Go to URL and google churns out a wap page based on that url minus the pictures...
Google uses Squid technology like most other html to wml converters means it cannot view secure sites and pictures cannot be displayed
Check it out:
Squid Web Proxy Cache
btw...
google is using Squid Version 2.3.STABLE4
