Hello,
After my last update that my K750 thinks it is a W800 I tried to update the software again but failed miserably. When I reach the point where I have to turn off the phone, press and hold "C" and then power up the phone, nothing happens. The phone turns on normally (as if no "C" was pressed) and my PC detects it as normal.
Is there a way to remove all SE software, drivers etc and reinstall everything from the beginning so that I make sure the right driver is installed for the update service?

It sounds like you have installed the SEUS USB driver but now the standard USB driver. See the K750 W800 firmware overview first page for more details.
