Is there any codec or software to play wmv and avi files in SE IN P910i .

Best thing to do is just get some encoding software.
To ensure complete DivX/XVid comptability in Smartmovie, just encode your files using the SmartMovie Converter.
As for the WMV, recode them to Mp4 or to DivX/Xvid (To View in Smartmovie). Its a pain, but the only option.

For the occasional wmv files I tend to use mpeg4 direct maker from artech365 to convert them either directly to mp4 or divx files playable on p9x0 or (rarely) to something less compressed for virtualdub work.
