Hey guys. I got a link to a good game site from the games section on esato. I downloaded a game but the phone says that file is not spported be phone even though it is .jar. I downloaded anyway, It was stored in Other folder with no option to open but only to send.
I was confused. So i sent it as a picture message to myself. After ten mins i got the message. I saved the items and voila, the game got stored in games folder and runs perfectly. What i dont understand is why wasnt the game able to start before. I downloaded two more games but with same result. If i continue this soon my money will disappear.

Plzz help

I'm getting the same results from some game sites but only after I upgraded to R2AY004. Another problem I've also noted is that unlike before I can't just download any 13gp file. Before I could download it even if it said the file was not supported and still play it in the "Other" folder where it was saved and transfer it back to the Video folder.

BTW, nice trick in sending the games back to yourself.

unlike in the k750, in the k700 you shouldn't store games and aps in the "other" folder. store them in the corresponding folders - games or applications. otherwise, in the "other" folder, the phone doesn't recognize them and the only option you get is "send".

Hope this helps you out.

You cant store the game any where you want. If file is supported you can save video files in videos , mp3 in sounds and so on. But if the file is not supported in the phone then automatically it gets stored in others.

You can try using bluetooth to send game to pc, and then resend it to phone. Maybe that will help. This message was posted from a T610
