Hi all, Im hoping someone can help me.

Using my P910i - I have a O2 pay as you go account in the UK. The GPRS works fine for HTML, but when I try to use (email via Pofimail) the connection never gets past Initialising.

The funny thing is when I use my Roaming Telstra (Aussie ISP) over the same UK O2 network, Profimail works fine.

Here are the different GPRS settings:

Telstra GPRS
Connection Type: GPRS

Server
Address: telstra.wap.mnc-001.mcc505.gprs

Get IP Address auto: yes
Get DNS address auto: yes

Proxy
proxy server: no

Other
Enable PPP extensions: yes
Authentication: normal

QOS
Precedence: Subscribed
Delay: Subscribed
Reliability: Class 3
Peak rate: Subscribed
Mean rate: Subscribed

O2 WAP GPRS
Connection Type: GPRS

Server
User name: payandgo
Password: ***
Address: payandgo.o2.co.uk

Get IP Address auto: yes
Get DNS address auto: yes

Proxy
proxy server: no

Other
Enable PPP extensions: yes
Authentication: normal

QOS
Precedence: Subscribed
Delay: Subscribed
Reliability: Class 3

Mean rate: Subscribed

Anyone got anyhints as to what I should look at? Any help welcome

Dunder

I cant test that but I know O2 on several models of various brands will not be able to achive such end...

Admitedly never tried on a P900 series but the O2 xda wasnts able to update...

Incidentally sent xda back and got Acer N50 premium instead.
