Hello, i just received my new w800i, and i have to say its an amazing phone from looking at the build and having a mess around with it..


Although, i have a few questions,

I downloaded PC suite, and ive installed the software, but after connecting the computer to the phone through the cable that came with the phone, the file manager when opened shows 'Not Connected'... any ideas why ?

Also, how do i upload songs to the memory card for the walkman ?
and how do i create new folders for 'Other' in File Manager to put my own ringtones, pictures and themes...

I presume you have also downloaded USB drivers and so on???

Click on the Icon tha says not connected and then it connects....

W800i uses this software to transfer/rip tracks from a CD to phone

Any other ringtones or themes can easely be bluetoothed to phone and the storage of such is automatic....

also use search here any time u feel cofident about it... k?

Hello again,

I have installed the USB drivers (Downloaded from SE.com..)
downloaded the file manager, however whenever i connect the phone to the PC with the USB link, and i open File Manager, it always says Not Connected, even though it is !

Any way i can fix this?

ive tried double clicking on the Not Connected sign, and it still doesnt work..

I have found that SE pc suite is a little stuburn....

if everything is installed properly then double clicking should connect withina reasonably fast time...

I have experienced some times it takes a feww double clicks...

I do have a fast PC not a sluggish one.... still that SE software and theire phones jeees....

Be a little more persistent next time (if you have already try installing phone monitor)
