when ever i try to record a sound from the entertainment menu, it records and all would seem well, but when you play it back you just get silence, though putting your ear very close and you can hear a faint 'snowy tv' sound, if you know what i mean...

could this be a firmware problem, i have the newest - r1n035 (newest?) or could it be a faulty on the phone, i hope not, i've already had to return the phone because of the camera not working, now this...

or could it be just a play back prob?

yes the volume was turned up to full

i tried to record something at a music show thing, and because it didn't work, i thought that maybe it was because the music was to loud or something and the phone couldn't handle it... but i then also tried just talking into it, still the same thing. i think its the firmware, cos i 'think' i remember using it fine when i was with the older r1nl002 firmware, which came with the phone.

it worked fine in R1L002 for me and it works fine in R1N035 too for me on two separate fones
