Kind posters have suggested a problem I have can be put right by a "master reset" or a "reboot". I am so thick I do not know how to do either. They may be the same thing. Can any one help?

Go to Control Panel. In the Others tab you should choose Master Reset. Note that you need the Device Lock Code. This message was posted from a P910

if you do a master reset you will also most likely loose your added data... so a backup is a must....

a reboot is nothing more than a turn of wait 30 seconds I wait a minute or so and switch fone back on....

I am not a fan of a full reset just a settings reset and a reboot is enough for a phone... taking the batery off and waiting is also used....

Thanks guys,
My problem is the screen & stylus do'nt work. A reboot ( now I know what it is ) does not work even after removing battery & phone card. I can reach control panel but need stylus to work to get to "other". Catch 22?

well if you must ask these guys....

A master reset is like setting the fone back to factory.... you will loose everything that is not bolted down...
