> 3 ways to get a P800 and 1 to be ripped off
Bookmark topic
This is collected information from various posts in different forums:
-1- official market-release: week 44 (it is the end of october, first week of
november) - this means the resellers will have enough P800s in stock
-2- until this week you can try to buy some of the demo-P800s from england:these P800s are still beta with a very buggy os and there will be no official service or software-upgrading from sonyericsson.
-3- the last chance to get the P800 before the official release-week is to get
some of the german demo-P800s - these P800s should ship in a complete box with all described features incl. the memory-stick duo and a very good
working symbian os (but still a beta-version). For these P800s you will have
a guarantee and free software-upgrades through sonyericsson at your local
se-dealer , but for these german demo-P800s you have to know somebody who knows somebody that know somebody who got a friend...
-4- buy one from Ebay and you're sure to get ripped off....

According to the SE website and all official press statements from them... P800 will be released in Q3; which means by the end of this month!...
Besides they still hvaen't issued any official press statement indicating otherwise so for the moment it shall be Q3!
Where did you get week 44 from?

I have tried a p800, a prototype... the startuptime was looong... almost 1-2 min, its a phone you dont turn off in the first place. Hopefully it will be faster in the productiontype.
