Bookmark topic
I've being trying to setup internet on my P910i for a week now and couldn't get it to work. I'm curently using T-mobile (USA) network. I've called their customer care many many times and the best they could do was send me a bunches of Auto Config messages. I have set them all up. Here is list of setup in my internet accounts: GPRS, PictureMessaging, T-Mobile GPRS, T-mobileinternet, and T-Zone GPRS. They advised me to select T-mobileinternet as Preferred but it didn't work. I've try with all the other from the list none of it work. Are their other setting I need to do?
If I ever get my internet to work, I also want to use my laptop to access internet through my P910i GPRS network. Is this possible? Curently I'm able to connect my laptop to P910i using Bluetooth.
Any help would appreciated.
Thanks

You certainly don't need all of those GPRS accounts. One account will be fine - I would suggest deleting them all and getting the provider to resend the settings - then you'll have just one internet profile you can use to connect and the phone will automatically use that as the default. Assuming the network supports GPRS and you have the service turned on on your account (it's not enough just to have the settings on your handset - it must be switched on on your account, too) then you should be fine.
Surfing the internet via GPRS using your Bluetooth connection between your phone and laptop should work fine - you'll just need to install the phone as a Bluetooth modem on your laptop and away you go.

I just changed the first part of the sever address
on the control panel> internet

Hi Robbie, Thanks for your help, I did as you suggested and my phone came back with “WAP gateway error “. After another hair pulling session with the Tech support he told me that I have to register on Tmobile .com. I try to register on their web site but their service is unavailable. Did you have to register? I’m loosing all faith with the Tech support.

With the new set up
Try restarting the phone, first.
then try opening a page like
www.yahoo.com
also try the opera software if you have installed
(seems to work best for me)
No i didn't register yet, also cause the website says that that page is currently unavailable......
are you trying to use T zones?or just regular internet browsing?

I did restart the phone, and still got the error. I’m subscribing to the $19 plan also. I’m not so sure what’re you asking. Does T-zones and internet browsing the same plan? I didn’t have Opera install yet, but what I did is from the Apps menu I choose Internet icon then it load a SE logo then I click on Sony Ericsson link it took me to the next screen with T-zones title on top of the screen. That is all I got so far. What do I expect to see when everything working?
thanks

It shouldnt do that....make sure in the control panel is still
internet2. insted of Wap.
the wap is to access Tzones (but I still have to figure that out)
the internet2. is to browse the intenet
did you try opening a page not sony or tmobile?
also downolad Opera
http://www.opera.com/download/mobile/
if it ask How to connect
make sure you specify the connection with the internet2.(however you called)
after this
you should just be able to browse the internet like a normal computer
