I have some 44.1 khz m4a but when i play them with power mp3 the playback is very quick for some reason.

But when i open them with the internal music player they play just fine!

Y is that?

did you turn on Equalizer?

I found that the quality of sound suffers when Equalizer is on. So usually I just turn it off completely.

No the equalizer is turned off.

The thing is that it sounds like its on fastforward like 4x-8x!

But i repeat the music player plays it just fine,it's just that i want to play it using powermp3.

Try re-installing it, may just be corrupt or something.

Well now the mp3s run fine with it just the m4a have this problem.

Well i did something stupid.i installed it on phone memory and then inserted a memory stick that had it installed in the memory as well, maybe that the origin of the problem, but of course i tried to uninstall and reinstall and same thing happens so i posted here.

Any other ideas?

So do you still ahve it installed twice?

Try just removing the MS and playing an internal MP3 file on the PowerMP3 installed internally - hows that sound?
