Hi does anybody knows what an exscamation icon (yellow triangle with "!" ) means on the p910,
I see it on top of the screen when I'm dialing or reciving a call, and it goes trhu
everything is fine with the call, but that icon is pretty annoying
anybody knows?
I'm on T Mobile usa

No, the icon means you have a connection that does not use encryption. But I wouldn't call it insecure...

I think it is useless information really, at least to the end user. It only means that the phone to base connection isn't encrypted, however the speech is digitized and sent in fast bursts so I dont't think that a kid with a police-scanner can listen in on your conversations.
If you are paranoid and want it encrypted, remember that all surveillance done by different three-letter-agencies is made in the MSC (Mobile Switching Center) on connections provided by the telco.
So just ignore the "!" for the time being.

no, it was my mistake, i couldnt recall it's true name so i put quotes, i haven't been ironic.
it's called -voice privacy-
anyway i thought that when it's displayed, encryption is enhanced not downgraded. thx for the info, tho.
