Hello - I am new to this forum so my apologies if this question has been answered before but I have only seen this topic as it relates to the P910i. Can I GPS-enable my P900? Any recommended procedures?

Thanks!

The P900 has bluetooth so will link to a bluetooth GPS receiver. All you need then is some software for your actual use.....what do you want to us it for?

I am developing a GPS-enabled application for mobile phones and wanted to test it on the P900. It will get too bulky with one of these separate devices so I will have to wait for the P990 and hope that they integrate GPS into the hardware! Thanks for the tips.

With a BT receiver, you have the option of putting it in your pocket, or bag, or leave on dash - so in that sense it's not getting bulky.
And, sorry but P990 will not have GPS.

@swisslife78

Why don;t you check the specs of the 990 on this forum (I dont know where, but its been recent topic). I dont think it does have an internal GPS rx, but I may be wrong.

PS - whats your app do?
