I am on vodafone ...i got sent a new orange sim card from work today (dont know why ) so i thought i would see if it was activated . I tryed it in my p910 and it was activated . I removed the back cover and was half way in removing battery ( no i diddnt switch phone off first) when i received a text (presumably from welcome orange )just as i remove the battery completly . I tryed my original vodafone sim but it would not let me open the sms . I then tryed the orange sim but same problem ..text icon there but will not let me open it .
Is there any way to remove this without doing the dreaded master reset and having to mess around with all the settings .
Thanks

now i'm not 100% sure of this but.....
there is a file c/mail. in it are a few directories with some non-readable files (by the p910 anyway!). I noticed that these files disappear when you delete sms messages.
so.....use sman, and delete the files in these directories, but i wouldn't touch the directories themselves. They seem to move around a bit!
