I got p900 and would like to upgrade 'cause 128 mb is not enough... at All. So I would like to upgrade to p910 firmware to use memory stick pro duo. If somebody has done it and knows how to do it, pls help. (have no money to buy p910 or better one.)

For german People:
www.entbranden.de

i did it and now i have under System Information P910a!

I use a Sony Memory Stick Duo Pro with 2 GB!!! and I have no problems.

So I now have R66 and TomTom Mobile UIQ (with Cards from Germany, Austria, Italy Eastern Europa) and Documents2go installed and all works fine.

Enjoy

I've had a p905 and recently sold it and bought a P910

Of course it will cost you a bit more, but the benefits of a REAL P910 is, in my opinion, worth it.

You have 4 times more space on the C: drive, so you can have ALL your applications (maybe except route 66) installed internally, leaving the MS free for other stuff.

You have more than 3 times free RAM for programs to run, which gives you a much better user-experience, because you practically never get out of memory errors (with my P905 I was constantly closing programs and compacting memory with Sman, or restarting the phone to be able to have memory hungry programs like Opera, VRally, Route 66 and Wayfinder run without problems).

Also, I find the thumb keyboard very usefull.

Finally you don't have any of the limitations of the P905 (Like only english language and T9 input, no BT headset etc.).

I definately haven't regretted switching to a real P910 - I'm much more happy with the phone now.

cheers
Peter
