I really can't understand how someone can be a t68 fan.

I have owned a t28 (excellent build quality), t39 (excellent phone! Unicode, bluetooth), t68 (slow, very poor battery life, bugs), T630 (ok), K700 (excellent phone) and now a K750 (Ok, but a few things I dislike)

An example of poor software for the t68:
When you receive an sms, there is a huge icon with an incoming sms, and the name of the sender keeps scrolling in a very small part of the display. You have to be lucky to look at it when the name appears. Poor design.

it's the t68i that takes the cake. it's the first to get MMS and Bluetooth fully implemented. although the interface can be quite slow at times, its build is superb. connectivity is tops. it could still go toe to toe with some of the modern phones of today without a hitch. how's that for enduring design?

What does a 3ds Max model, (Which costs as much as a new t68i, mind you) have to do with t68i fans?

T68i is a great phone with the most beautiful design I have ever seen!!

Yes, it is a bit slow. BUT the battery is powerful, no doubt about that.
I'm happy about the phone's superb ability to use the battery very economically. Now my T68i is nearly 3,5 years old. It's my primary phone and as I have said in other threads here in Esato: even now the average standby time is 8,5 days (over 200 hours). And the personal standby record of my T68i is more than 11,5 days (over 278 hours).

There is no bugs in my T68i, it works really well. During past 3,5 years it had only one faulty reset and only twice it froze while I used GPRS. This is really good achievement if you think about nowadays "buggy" phones.

My T68 is over 3 years old and I still use it on occasion as a backup phone. I just used it last month while waiting for my K750 to arrive and was pleasantly reminded of some of the cool games that came with it (Q RULES!). I only wish there were more basic puzzle for the K750 (Q?).

My phone is the T68i. I still use it. It is a classic!

But the top of the joystick jus broke off.

I put it back on, but I'm going to have to glue it.
