I know it sounds stupid, but I can't open the battery cover of my K750i. In the past it was no problem at all. Now it feels as if it is all glued together (I know it is not!). I tried to force it a little with something sharp between the cover and the lid ... didn't help ...
Has anyone else experienced the same and does anyone have a tip to get the cover (lid) open again???

Cheers,
Dan.

Squeeze the body of the the phone and push the middle of the battery cover and it should come off easily.

hmmm that's odd... how could a plastic cover get stucked just like that. maybe it's not inserted correctly...

try to get some rubber band and rub it against the cover.

@dan - H m m m, when I still had that unit, I am having more problem putting it back than removing the batt cover, as the enclosure at both ends don't level when it is closed. Try to be more gentle when removing it, as the cover itself may break/crack. Good Luck !

The lid is fitted correctly. I am trying to open it with pushing a little knife under it, but that only damages my phone If I 'push' the lid open, the whole back cover is moving a bit.
Does the lid 'lock' itself in the middle of the edge of the lid? I guess so, put pushing there doesn't help anything

@dan - If you are near a Service Center better bring it there mate, I am having a feeling here that your batt cover will break sooner or later. Good Luck !

OK, with a colleague and some force we were able to open the lid. I wanted to remove the battery, but that also didn't go as smoothly as it used to do.
After I got the battery out, I was puzzled about why the lid was so stuck why the battary was so hard to remove.
The I noticed that my battery was a bit swollen (thick). It wasn't warm however.
To test if the battery could be the cause, I placed it back and closed the lid ... now it's stuck again.
I'm 100% convinced that the lid is fittet correctly. So I'm afraid I'm having an issue with my battery.

Just wondering if others will also get issues with swollen batteries ..??

@dan - If the fone is still under warranty then by all means have the battery - replaced ! If not, might as well buy a new one, might endanger the fone if used continuously.
