Greetings,
I have an emergency and I seek technical assistance on a certain matter involving my w800 cellular phone.
I recently attempted to install a firmware upgrade for my w800 using Sony's update service system. However when i reached the point where the computer was installing the Update USB Driver (turn on the phone, hold down C key, select the driver from the add new hardware wizard and install procedure), i experienced a power outage for a short minute, and as a result, my phone got cut off halfway through the flashing.
The outage apparantly cut off the pc right when windows was copying the 2 USB driver files into the system directory.
Now my phone refuses to turn on. I proceeded to charge the battery and reinsert it into the phone but the phone simply does not respond. I also tried the Recovery mode service but I receive an error stating that this only operates if someone has used the Update service before. This statement seems accurate as I was never able to reach that point since the computer failed halfway installing the Update usb driver due to the outage. Also, computer no longer acknolowdges the phone when connected via the USB cord. I've owned the phone for only 3 weeks now and is currently my primary phone so I request immediate assistance. Thank you very much.

Take it to a SE service centre, failing that you can get yourself on Total MultiServer and attempt to reflash the phone from there..

It seems u have killed your phone. You could try the phone repair/unlocking shops, (which i doubt it will work) if not then use the se warranty and take it to a se repair center
