Which Opera file is suitable for W800i?

I went to the official site and they didn't provide one for W800i. And most of the files are .sis Can this work with W800i? I've only installed files with .jar

.sis files are for symbian phones such as the P800, P900 and P910 and they will not work on the W800.

Opera mini is available as a .jar but currently only legally available in scandinavia

ROLMAO...Opera knows about the illegal proliferation of Opera Mini but won't do anything about it. They could for instance block all non-Norwegian IP's accessing their servers if they wanted to.

I agree with Brix, Opera couldn't give a fig whether or not non-Norwegians use Mini, as is evidenced by the fact that all and sundry are using and discussing it quite openly. Even this site which professes to be anti-warez has allowed links which lead to non-licensed sites. There's a slender line between sites hosting warez and non-licensed sites, imho, and by allowing the publication of such links, and even giving tacit approval to the downloading of the application from such sites by allowing the links to remain uncontested, make me wonder what the precise Esato definition of warez is, and what the term "legal"constitutes. I have personally removed over 50 links to unofficial copies of opera and even gave 1 member a short ban for repeatedly posting a link after I asked them not to.

Esato takes warez activities seriously and invite you PM us any links you know of

A quick search has revealed a notable absence of those links. Nice work, Masseur. However, I would love to know how it is that links to ebooks which are clearly not public domain but intellectual property are still allowed to proliferate? Surely MsRowling hasn't given approval to her works to be so openly distributed... I speak under correction, of course.

EDIT- i have, on occasion, myself passed along a book or two even though it hasn't been public domain. It's hard being a bibliophile and not encouraging others to read

I can see this is going to open up into a wider discussion

you could also have mentioned music, videos, ringtones etc etc

and I agree...

it is interesting that we receive legal notice to remove warez, a description which is generally considered to be software only, but none (that I am aware of) in regards to other copyright material and as such none of us actively remove these (yet) though it has been discussed in the moderator forum.

lol, i neglected to mention those since i very very rarely download tones or pics, etc. I do agree that it's an anomaly. Possibly a thread can be started where folks could post links to public domain books, which i know there are shed-loads of; the problem which'll probably arise is that not many ppl are into reading, which is the real disappointment in this situation.
