I think Esato already looks nice and it don't need a change. But if Laffen wants to change it then that's fine. But as I said, I think it looks good as it is.

yup me too. I like the simple looks of Esato and thats one of the reasons why i keep coming back here.

Other forums have good graphics but are pretty hard to navigate because of the excess graphics.

if this is not for member feedback then why not simply PM this to laffen directly rather than posting it in open forum? certainly I also understood the post to be asking for opinion as well as offering a suggestion

I'm sure as a long time site developer, laffen is fully aware of the stuff available. However, all those things you link to appear to require phpBB version 2 and as I recall from previous discussions, Esato is based on phpBB version 1 but very heavily modified by laffen making the move to version 2 quite difficult and time consuming

personally, I also agree with the other comments here regarding Esato's current look but fortunately laffen has added a few things I (and others) have asked for, such as the "my post" feature, which do make things a little better for members. To be honest, I sometimes get a little lost in some forums due to the overwhelming number of ways you can do even the simplest things
