Does anyone else think that SE phones have this problem? The light is so strong on my W800i it really does cause a lot of problems for a person who is prone to black outs like myself.

The K700i had this problem too, and I am sure the K750i has the same problem.

Has there been any discussion about this?

the backlight? the flash light?

If the flash light you shouldn't really be looking directly into it. If the backlight, um it has to be a little bright for night situations.

Oh sorry, I mean the camera/SOS light.

I don't look into it, and yet it still causes problems.

i think its got its uses and its good for taking pictures of things in very low light, but i personally think its pretty difficult to take pictures of people when the light is on, they always end up looking away, squinting or pulling a funny face! Maybe thats what the original poster was referring to.....

The light's not there for decoration you know. Its there to make pictures in low light situations come out better, and when using it as a torch it would be pretty useless if it wasn't very bright now wouldn't it. Stop complaining and buy a camera phone without a light on it, i suppose then you'd be complaining you can't take very good pictures in the dark.
