> OBEX File Push Profile error hlp k750i
Bookmark topic
i have a blutake poke 2 dongle i can send stuff from my phone to pc but not pc to phone i get the below error, whats the cure i have xp pro-sp2 windows.
The file transfer failed because the receiving Bluetooth computer or device did not respond.
If you sent the file to another Windows XP computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. If you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed.

Turn the bt on on your pc.
1, Right click bt icon and select bluetooth setup wizard.
2, Check the third selection down and click next.
3, Make sure file transfer is ticked and click finish.
This should install the obex file transfer on your pc.
Also in your divice manager make sure that your bt device has the correct driver and you are not using microsoft native drivers, because with sp2 the microsoft drivers are installed.

I have the same and have left it as is, its just incase you want to network your pc's via bt.
Go through the same process again but at the end un tick 'network access' and 'dial-up networking' and see what happens.
You never know it might work

Any solutions for the following problem?
I have a K750i (R1N035) and noticed today that if I try to transfer a folder with over 10 files to my computer (Windows XP Pro, SP2) from the phone, the phone kind of restarts. The screen goes dark, then white, repeats this and then it look for reception like starting up. I also noticed that when I transfer files to my computer, the initial transfer rate is about 300 kbps and it reduces to about 4 kbps gradually after each file and finally it does that start up kind of thing.
Has anybody else had the same issue? Any suggestions?
Thanks guys!

I assume your talking about the icons near the clock in windows?
Right click the clock > Customise Notifications > find the icon you wish to hide, and set it to either 'Hide Always' or 'Hide when inactive', whichever suits you.

Tht will just hide it, if youi want to stop it from loading completely, you may be able to prevent it by going..
Start > Run > type 'msconfig' enter > go to 'Startup' tab and see if you can find it there and untick the relevant box
