(T-mobile) Internet question... Explanation? Why?
I have W800i phone with T-mobile internet (T-Zones) Well.. The first night I got my internet it worked fine.
Late I was not able to get some websites.. So i thought.. WELL maybe its t-mobile blocking some sites.. I then set up a proxy at my house. After that It worked fine.
So I go to class today for 9:00. I get websites left and right.
W800i --> T-mobile tzones w/ their default proxy --> My proxy --> Internet
So 10:00 comes and I have to switch classes.. The class is right behind the first one. Well I go into the class and im not able to get any websites (but one that I can always get.. Im-everywhere.. Which is basically my own computer) I have full bars in both rooms. A tower is near the campus. Anyways.. First class has 4 windows while the 2nd class only as 1. The class ends and I walk outside and i'm still not able to get any websites..
I drive to work and on the way I can get anysite.. Come to work and its sorta not working... WHY?!?!
1) Is phone calls and internet the same? As in can they both go through walls?
2) Is it just the poritie of the tower? Where internet is on the bottom?
3) Well does t-mobile have KB limit? (so much per hour?)
4) Do I need my proxy?
5) Do I need to spam the websites? Start stop start stop?
6) Why can I always get my website/imeverywhere? But yahoo wont come up sometimes...
7) Advise?

You have the $4.99 plan. To be able to access anything and everything you need the unlimited data access plan for $19.99.

i'm not going to be able to offer you much advice but i do think that your imei isn't dependent on a network signal. I'm open to correction, of course, but surely your imei's embedded in the phone's memory?

The cheap plan it supposed to be for t-mobile services. t-zones. Ringtones, downloads, games. While the more expensive plan is to access the www as you please.

And there I was wondering what internet beer tastes like.

so what about creating a webpage that just gets webpages and returns the page in just text... im thinking me using opera w/ my proxy sorta gets by the t-mobile filter some times but other times it dosent. it seems if its just text i can always get it.. so.... an idea of that type of website? something i can host from my home computer?
