there have been many threads about o2 delivery reports, the only way to get delivery reports with o2 (on sony ericsson phones only I think) is by putting *0# in front of every text (easiest way is to set that as a template), this is because o2 do not support se's delivery report message system

o2 dont support this. You can however get round this, there is a code you put in at the start of the number your sending it to the get a report (but i cant remember it).

i have tried looking for some one to unlock it, but apprently the software on the 6680 has not been cracked by the ppl that do the unlocking, ive been to about 10 ppl around Leciester and on the Internet, and no one can do it, ther are sites that claim they can doit, but someone told me that they are full of sh*t

The *0# code works on all phones to get o2 delivery reports. It's a network code, not phone specific. As far as I'm aware it's the only way to get delivery reports whether you're contract or PAYG. Probably a ploy to cut down network traffic from all those free texts!
The Nokia 6680 is the new BB5 encryption and is totally different to past unlocking calculators. It has not been cracked yet, and retail outlets can not do it yet. The reason it's taking so long is because the new nokia n and e series will probably use it, hence the operators want to cream as much profit as possible.
There is no internet service to unlock these new phones yet so buy only sim free if you cant wait and beware of scams!
