I've just got my T68i and am trying to get emails working.
I used the Sony configurator from their web site, but I can't receive emails... I can send them though.

When trying to receive the phone says:
Finding server
Connecting
Finding server
Receiving mails
(GPRS session details because the session ends)
No new mails

I know that there are emails waiting because I sent them, and I get an SMS alert from Orange to tell me I have mail waiting.

Anybody got any ideas why that is? If the mailbox settings were wrong I wouldn't be able to send (or would I?)

Hello -

I use GPRS on Orange to access my emails - do you want to try a manual configuration? If so, post an email address and i will send them to you.

Englishman abroad - my email is chucky.egg@yarrannabbee.co.uk it'd be great if you could send over the settings.

I have looked at other posts here and found a complete set, which I'm using but still cant receive.

I've tried 156, but after 20 minutes my son woke up so I had to hang up!

Thanks
Chucky

Yeah, i've checked all my settings. Even deleted and started again from scratch... same problem.

I've noticed the "Receiving mail" progress abr does move across the screen up to about 10% but then disappears again before it says "No new mails"

I'll call 156 again, but if ENGLISHMANABROAD can send me the details I can check them against what I'm using.

BTW - I've read that Orange are closing their ISP. Can anyone confirm that, or say what will happen to email addresses and SMS alerts?
