i am trying to transfer some of my saved sms messages to my pc. I cannot access my sms file with the data cable. Please let me know how can I do that. Do I need different software for that. I downloaded a software from sonyericsson.com but with that I can only access to the Sound, Picture, Video, and Other.

Also anyone know which themes here on esato work with the z500a?>? cant tell if the K300/500/700i or even if its the z600i's themes work with it?
WHY is this an official SE phone yet its been bastardized?!!!

The SonyEricsson software does not let you manage your sms-messages, not on the z500 or any other phone (at least not 'untill' the k700).
You should use programs like myphoneexplorer or fma to do that.

Fma has more advanced features, Myphoneexplorer is very fast and stable. But first try to find out if they work with the z500...
