I almost thought Nokia has beaten SE in the camera department. If haven't already heard, Nokia just released a new model with a 3 mega pixel camera (and Wifi, 3G, Quad band, 352 x 416 screen, etc etc).

So why is the K750/W800 still better you ask?
Because it has AUTO FOCUS!!
Yup, Nokia released a 3 megapixel camera with no auto focus (granted it does have a macro mode). Too bad.. I was actually considering the phone too..

Although I gotta say, SE better step up with a 3G/Quad band phone that has Wifi and super high resolution display (well.. there is the P990.. but its HUGE!).

Buddy its not far that SE will come with a smashing answer to Nokia.. Whatever may be the case but SE rules and i guess everyone agree to it..

Hang on there matey, the Nokia camera phones arent bad. Stop being generalising please.

From the many reviews and comparisons between nokia and SE camera phones i think its the oversharpness and saturation of colour thats the problem with nokia cameraphones, but they still arent bad.

still go for SE though

great point vanquish

lets be honest as well se has only just got its act together in the camera dept. before the k700 there camera phones were nothing short of crap compared to the competition.
now they are very much on par or better than most. till phones are out and working its hard to say if the camera is better or worse.
unless your able to see the future and see the pic quality, like some esato memebers claim to be able to

based on certaind knowledge about photography one can make such predictions when comparing a existing phone and one that is yet to be launched

there´s a big probability that a phone without autofocus will perform worse than one with it, even having more megapixels (that, as i am tired of saying, do not imply quality for sure)

enough???

I must say that I agree that a phone with auto focus will make better pictures.
