There is something called mobile radio, which offers a good variety of stations, including virgin. Unfortunately, the app is only available for s60 phones. With nokia makin a foray into UIQ phones, hopefully that should change soon;-)

seriosuly i would pay a charge if somebody would make a virgin radio type setup with mre stations, im surprised developers havent jumped on this, the gprs is clearly suitable for listening, i cant tell the diff when i have the virgin radio on and the reg radio in from a walk man, seriosuly there is money to be made with this, a one time charge to listen to hip hop rock
r@b etc would be great , or even the ability to get winamp or soemthign to connect you to shoutcast or something clearly its possible and its sad noone is doing it. Wish i was a developer.

I used internet radio on pocket pc using my gprs connection - sounded sweet. Hundreds of radio stations to choose from!!
Expensive gprs were I live though - 2c per kilobyte, at about 25Kbps per second download stream.
Still I was impressed with the audio quality, and the buffering was perfect - no stuttering at all.
