Came across this while looking for what fone i should get next. Is this a good deal yes or no? I was goin for a k750, (my k700's screen's cracked bad) and am on contract with 02 now, but should i cancel contract and get this new contract with that phone?

A P910i for £19 a month is a amazing offer. If it the kind of phone that you want then go for it.

Well I ride my bike allot and wouldn't want to take it out when doing that because of the breakage factor. I fell on my k700 y'see. I was goin to get the k750. but that fone does so much more. How much is it generally to fix a new screen on a k700? I am due a new fone anyway but o2 might begrugde giving me a p910 for free. the symbian os dealy thing would mean it has allot of expandability and potential for applications and such, because i got frustrated with my k700. Also would o2 brand it, and would that hinder the phone at all?

The o2 branding is minimal imo, certainly when comparing it to Vodafone etc. There is little or no discernable difference. I recently went for this deal on the 200 mins tariff; I think it's one of the best around. If u shop about u can find sites offering "cashback" deals to lower the line rental, but I didn't fancy the hassle. I'd say a P910i for free on a range of low tariffs is pretty much unbeatable on the highstreet.

Yes, have to agree. I'm on O2 and have got ap910i ( althoough when I upgraded, I had to pay a lot for the phone ) and I also noticed they are now offering it for free.

THe tariffs on O2 Online are , IMO, the best value ones around. I lloked around at High Street deals, and even tried a few online deals, but to get the phone for free, meant a really expensive tariff, or getting a cheaper tariff meant a small fortune for the phone.

In the end, I stayed with O2 . They gave me the Online 200 for 20gbp per month.

O2 online offer 500 texts with their tariffs, This allowance can also be used to send picture messages, which is a great deal. But as I don't really send a lot of texts, i opted to increase the amount of talk time and reduce the number of texts. In the end, I have 300 mins talk time and 50 texts per month plus a small allowance for GPRS data received. Can't find anything else out there to match that, so I paid for my P910i when I upgraded.

I am an existing o2 customer and every year I have to threaten to leave them in order NOT to pay for my upgrade, as new customers get them for free. So I rung the number and asked if they could do the 910 on my existing tariff - NO. But they DID swap me to the online 200 tariff, which is better than my existing one anyway, and are now mailing me the phone this week. So, YES, get the phone, it's ace, and to existing o2 customers, get ringing them to complain (nicely) if you are having to pay for inferior upgrades
