when i connect my p910i it to the pc usin the syncstation via usb .. windowsxp reports an error sayin unrecognizable device attachd to usbport, and nothin happens after tht. i even somhow installd its drivers still it says unrecognizable.. i tried it on my friends pc it workd fine there. dunno wats the problem on my pc..
shud i change any settings??

Try uninstalling the pc suite and the semc sync station software completely and rum a fresh install. Btw, what operating system are you running? This message was posted from a K750

You could try a different USB port. I've heard that it can be fussy that way.

Nope that is not possible. Neither will trying another USB will work. Try to uninstall the SEMC sync station software and reinstall it. Al d best

is the usb type 1.1 or 2? i'ver never seen an instance of it not working on a 1.1, but then again, i've never looked!

alternatively, are your usb drivers updated? not the syncstation driver, the usb one for the PC.

if that fails, uninstall the driver, download the latest one from the SE website, and try again. maybe you've used an old one from the disk....?

throw away the syncstation. it's faulty the same thing happened to me a month ago. and after i borrowed another syncstation from a friend it worked. something happened to my old one and suddenly it appeared on my pc as an ''unknown'' device now I got a new one it cost me about 50 euro. :|

hi all,
pikey might remember my error problem similar but not the same...installed the Moto a 1000 prog and end of prob.
I also tried all the uninstall/install with and w/o firewalls etc...nothing helped.Also i have the PC SUite 3 2 0 version(got disk with phone)which appears to be newer than the site?...yet it makes no diff...always XP error when i remove P910i from cradle. btw pikey, left a "thanks" for the moto info @ the last post...not sure if you saw it.
moto and BT working now. Bit sad not to be able to use SE PC Suite but i suppose half an egg is better than an empty shell.

wannabe, yeah I caught your thanks. thanks! I think this guys problrm is more related to the connection between PC and syncstation rather than syncstation and phone. If he has BT, then yeah, i'd try the moto software, if not, then try the fixes, and if they don't work, use the sync as a frisbee and buy a BT dongle!.
