Ok so I have my p910i just today, I've installed the pc suite, got it charged, but how do I copy mp3's to it? And any other files? Can I view my sms and other items off the phone, on the pc? And also what are the essential softwares that I should have on the phone? I saw the other thread but where can i obtain them and what do they do?

Welcome to Esato!
Do you have a USB cable, or do you connect VIA bluetooth?
a good program that you should try is called Floats Mobile Agent - it can be found at
http://fma.sourceforge.net/ check it out and see everything that the program can do

and depending on how you connect, you can send MP3's etc to your phone. do you have a memory card (for your phone) and memory card reader on your computer?
edit: fixed the link

I got the sman thing on there, gonna look at it tonight in detail. Is that the only way you can see what programs you have minimized? I got the filemanager software from the cd to work now, so i can transfer but for 3mb mp3's it takes LONG. Also can the phone save sms txts that you send? Like a sent items folder, I can't find it in the manual, or does this need a seperate program?
in reply to EastCoastStar, I've got a usb deskstand it came with and a 30mb card. Will hoping to be getting a 2gig for the hell of it when i have the cash. That Floats Mobile Agent looks like a good program so i'll check it out.

For transferring MP3's - get a USB2 card-reader and copy directly to the card (you have to browse down the the audio directory) - it is MUCH faster. You definately need this if you buy a 2GB card, or you will never have it filled up
Transferring large files via the cradle or BT just takes forever.
I higly recommend "Magic Launcher" - for me, it was just what I was missing in the P910, it let's you switch between open programs, create a shortcut menu, compact memory, close applications and more - best money I spent on software for My P910.
If you like watching movies, I recommend "SmartMovie" - better quality than the built in MP4 player and better for full lenght movies (the buildt in MP4 player does not like movies over 40-60 minutes).
cheers
Peter
