possible to do directly?
(or need to be done via restoring to another p900 and then infrared,blue tooth or memory stick duo?)
Also what are the differences between p910, p910a & p910i
any atall?

P910a is the American version, works on 850 instead of 900 Mhz. P910 is the name given the phone type, the letter after denotes its type (i International, a American, c Chinese)
You can't use your P900 backup files, you'll have to copy stuff manually. It's a real PITA!
