How often do you replace your phone's screen protectors?
I'm using a Martin Fields protector for my phone, and it is starting to peel from the edges. I handle the phone with kid gloves, so it's not peeling from abuse, just over time.
I am not that keen on getting another $15 protector, and it sucks that the protector only lasted me three months.
What do you guys do? Buy new protectors? Stop using 'em?

I bought a screen protector because the saleslady talked me into it when I bought my phone. lol.
But I'm thinking that when this wears, I aint gonna buy a replacement. I've heard that the s700 has a really tough LCD anyway.

The one on my 910 had a slight bubble at the lower edge, yet it lasted more than three.. I would rather have 'em instead of keeping bare. > @Salis- LoL, yeah.. We'll talk bout it after you've been to her again and she flutters her eyes at you ;) Oh ! its true as Hell.. The S7 is one strong, Battle ready chic.. After ALL I've put it thru dez past 11 months. That outer glass (or whatever it is) on the display IS scratch resistant (without any protector skins) ! !

save your money... just get a cheap crystal clear tape... it won't peel... that's what i'm using now. though placement is pretty hard..

Real men don't use protection

Just kidding, but if a protective sheet costs almost $15, it sounds almost as it would be better to buy a replacement cover if the original one becomes too scratched.

the screen protector of phones without touch screens should last longer than those with touch screen. usually, it peels off when the edges are not properly positioned and snag on your clothes etc. i have experienced that when the phone has a screen protector and an OAD silicon case which "hides" the edges of the screen protector that there is zero to little chance of the protector peeling.

Yes, but why should you hide a beautifully designed phone inside an ugly case or cover it with ugly screen protecting tape? Ok, it becomes a little scratched and gets a few "battle scars", but there are always replacement covers, even SonyEricsson original, for a fair price if the scars should become too deep or ugly, and you will not become any happier if the phone does not have any scratches after a couple of years, it's worthless anyway by then, and you have probably bought a new model. Be happy now instead, impress on your friends, and Bling-Bling with your brand new phone and don't hide it inside an ugly casing

But if u want to sell let's say a k750i over a few years.
You could make $50 of it, and maybe $10 if 'battlescarred'.
I plan to do this over a few years when the following generation comes of the following generation of the w900i (and maybe the following generation).

Yeah, I think after my phone is six months old, I'll stop worrying about it. I don't resell phones anyway, I don't like the idea of using a used cellphone, nor would I want to have someone else endure that.
