> One question regarding W900 and 6681

My friend has a Nokia 6681. He is a complete Nokia lover. Today I asked him at what rate his camera captures videos. He said at 30fps. Is it true? I watched the w900 clip and it was far better then the 6681 one. So is it true or was he didnt know what he was talking about?

Nokia 6681 records video at 15fps, 176x144pixels resolution, 125kbit/s H.263 video and 8000hz AMR audio.
K750 records video af 10 fps, 176x144pixels resolution, 200kbit/s H.263 video and 8000hz AMR audio
W900 records video at 30fps, 320x240pixels resolution, 380kbit/s Mpeg4 video and 8000hz AMR audio.
ergo, W900 and to some extent also K750 both records better video than 6681.
The most important part of quality in recordings are not the fps, its not that important if its 15 or 30fps. The most important part are the resolution, the bitrate of the video and the videocodec used.

If he doesnt beleive me, you could simply point him to Nokia developers whitepapers about video recording capability on S60 2nd edition devices, there youl find the 6680/6681

People.. Here this..
Im a Sony Ericsson User... since.. T600 - T610 - K700i - and now a W800i
but what i mean is that Sony Ericsson is like Linux
And Nokia is Windows or Mac X.
So, what do i mean?... In some aspects, like desing, User Interface, Nokia will be always better than Sony Ericsson..
But for professional Mobile maniacs .. like "US"
Sony will be the best.. Because we can invent in the phone, not
only what the cell has to offer from factory.
So, we have to give the credits to nokia in its aspects.
