I got the full (registered) version of 'photo editor' from a friend of mine. I have it in the "Beamed" folder. I have installed it to. I was wondering is there way to transfer a '.sis' file in the beamed folder to be saved in 'internal' or 'external' memory so that i can just transfer it to my computer to save it as a backup file???
Help is much appreciated!

I presume you have the sis file on a pc. Access the phone memory through the PC suite file manager and transfer it to the "others" folder on the C:/ or D:/ drive...

No luck, I`ve tried that MRAO. If I access it through d PC suite it narrows down the view to just the Internal memory and external memory folders. I'm still unable to access the Beamed folder so that I can transfer it.

use sman to move it to a readable place on your phone.

Yup...SMan would be a good option....Alternatively you can serach for a tool called Desktop File Manager ...Unfortunately I dont have a link to that tool... I think it is
http://www.symbianware.com ...give it a shot
but it is an excellent program for your pc which allows you to read all the drives on the phone...... including system folders....be careful not to tinker with system files though..

sman is an advanced file manager to install on your phone. it will go to any place on your phone and not be limited like the SE file manager. That way, you can find the beamed items folder, and use it to copy it to your normal media files directories.
Check out the last page of this thread to download it:
